Destination Holiday at Ile-De-France region

The City of Lights boasts fascinating architecture, rich culture, and amazing cuisine, making it one of the best destinations in the world.

Paris is the capital and most populous city of France. Centuries of cultural and political development have brought Paris a variety of museums, theaters, monuments and architectural styles. Among Paris' important museums and cultural institutions are the most visited art museum in the world, the Louvre, and the Musee National d'Art Modern, the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe. The central area of the city along the Seine River is classified as a UNESCO Heritage Site, and includes many monuments, including Notre Dame Cathedral (12th century to 13th century); the Sainte-Chapelle (13th century); the Eiffel Tower (1889); and more. Paris is also known for its fashion, particularly the twice-yearly Paris Fashion Week, and for its haute cuisine, and three-star restaurants.

Between Paris and Lyon, Dijon is the perfect place to sample Burgundian cuisine and admire Medieval architecture.
Dijon is a city in eastern France, and is the capital of the Burgundy region. The city has retained varied architectural styles from many of the main periods of the past millennium, including Capetian, Gothic and Renaissance. Many still-inhabited town houses in the city's central district date from the 18th century and earlier. Dijon architecture is distinguished by, among other things, toits bourguignons (Burgundian polychrome roofs) made of tiles glazed in terracotta, green, yellow and black and arranged in geometric patterns. The historical center of the city has been registered since July 4, 2015 as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This "Little Venice" retains a deep Alsatian appearance and culture, with wine-tasting and exploration as additional highlights.

Colmar is the third-largest commune of the Alsace region in north-eastern France. The town is situated along the Alsatian Wine Route and considers itself to be the "capital of Alsatian wine". The city is renowned for its well preserved old town, its numerous architectural landmarks and its museums, among which is the Unterlinden Museum with the Isenheim Altarpiece.
